Save $$$ - Save Natural Gas - Save Oil

Patterned after our first successful Crunch, which focused on electricity use, Carbon Crunch Challenge 2.0 will focus on home heating. Whether you use oil or natural gas, this is your chance to reduce your energy use and save money. You will learn about free home energy assessments by MassSave, and get the information you need to create a more energy-efficient home. You will see the difference when you compare your heating bills in early 2011 to those in 2010, and you will continue to reap the benefits for years to come.

Our pilot group will have individual coaches to help them with questions after their free home energy assessment. Coaches will help you take advantage of the myriad rebates, tax credits, and low interest payments available to help make your home more efficient. Coaches are members of the Weston Climate Group who are in touch with experts, though they do not profess HVAC expertise themselves.

This summer and fall are perfect times to perform energy upgrades in your home. Next January and February we will help you measure your savings, using information from your heating bills.
