The WCG will meet for one last gasp before summer swamps us, in the Weston Library Conference Room at 7 pm on Tuesday, June 19th. Note that we will be in the Conference Room, in the back right corner of the library, not the Community Room where we usually meet for events.
The agenda continues to evolve, but here is what’s currently planned:
- Ed Woll, the chairman of the energy committee for the Mass. Sierra Club chapter, will be our guest for much of the evening. He will describe the Sierra Club’s partnership with Sungevity around the Solar Homes Program and discuss whether there might be an opportunity to get Weston households involved. - An update on Sustainable Middlesex, a regional collaboration among groups similar to the Weston Climate Group, intended to leverage information & activities and exchange ideas
- An overview of Wellesley College's "Trash Talk”
- Other updates on regional activities
